Julia is an abstract artist and photographer whose love of colour is clearly apparent in her vibrant work.   She works in a number of different media creating gestural and expressive pieces. Her photographs reflect her affinity with the natural landscape, particularly in colour and texture.

Julia graduated from the Byam Shaw School of Art, after which she worked at the Whitechapel Art Gallery for Nicholas Serota. She then trained to be an Art teacher and has taught art for many years.

Julia has exhibited widely, including in the Discerning Eye in London, selected by the abstract artist Bert Irvin, the RWA and Bath Society of Artists Annual Exhibition. She has works in private collections in the UK, France, Holland, Australia, the US and in a public collection in Japan.
